Employment and Transitions in Adults with ASC and/or Intellectual Disability

There are high rates of unemployment and underemployment in adults with autism and/or intellectual disability.  In collaboration with collaborators in Michigan State University and funded by the EU- funded ASSISTID programme, we have implemented employment preparation programmes for individuals with autism and/ or intellectual disability in Galway.  We are conducting ongoing employment research with our community partners who include RehabCare, Ability West, and EmployAbility Galway.
